In Jigawa State, the PATHS2 programme has been characterised by a continued focus on service delivery interventions and balancing
implementation, particularly in model LGAs, with increased institutionalisation for sustainability among a range of stakeholders
and local institutions, including but not limited to government.
Service delivery improvements were deepened, and linkages between the availability of a skilled health workforce, complementary health systems
strengthening, and community involvement were enhanced. The work of PATHS2 has made a real difference in the lives of the people it is designed to help—those vulnerable populations who for too long have lacked adequate access to affordable, quality health care.
